Hello, I’m David Nibbs and I’m a sales copywriter and online content writer.
As a member of the Institute of Sound, Communications and Visual Engineers (MInstSCVE) and the Professional Light and Sound Association (PLASA), I have more than 40 years of industry experience in the design and sales of professional sound, stage lighting, and audio-visual installation projects.
More than 20 of those years were with my own companies, giving me not only extensive technical expertise but also more than 40 years of B2B sales and marketing experience.
Having been in this industry for most of my professional life, I have experience of your market, the customers, the technology, the equipment, the projects, and your aspirations and goals.

I write online content that helps businesses improve their results.
I consider my writing style to be friendly, engaging, often enlightening, and sometimes amusing!
I write it as you say it… It’s called ‘conversational copywriting’ and it’s a far better style of writing nowadays.
People can spot the ‘hard sell’ a mile off, so that’s what I avoid!
Technical subjects do not need to be made more complicated by the way they are written.
I write in a clear, conversational style that makes the subject easier to understand without dumbing it down.
The aim is not to fill pages with marketing language or turn every sentence into a sales pitch.
It is to explain what matters, make the subject interesting and give people a reason to keep reading.
WHAT ONE OF OUR CLIENTS HAS TO SAY ABOUT US
Having known David had many years’ experience in the AV industry, I had no hesitation when arranging for him to write content for our website.
It’s a very specialist industry, and we felt that the correct terminology needed to be used, but written in a way that made the content interesting, informative and above all, in a way our customers could relate to.
I hope it’s the first of many case studies that David will write for us
